L-398 Tankei Tiger Pleco
New to the trade from Brazil, the L-398 plecostomus was first described by collector Christian Andreas Cramer in 2016. This colorful and peaceful pleco is native to the Rio Xingu basin and looks like it will not be impacted by the Belo Monte Dam, associated with so many species disappearing from the World.
The L398 Tankei Tiger needs driftwood in the fish tank and is an active scavenger. These guys only grow to 5 inches and, reports so far say they are hardy in the aquarium.
