Malawi Trout
The Malawi Trout is an open water predator of Lake Malawi. These cichlids are shaped like torpedoes (and trout) and in the wild feed on lake sardines. In the aquarium these fish will eat anything. Malawi trout are uncommon and beautiful fish that will be fine with other aggressive large cichlids. The males get slightly larger and more blue than the females, both genders are beautiful.
